As a landscape painter I respond to nature in many ways. Not only do I paint the fields and valleys of our area, my paintings include streams, bridges, historic buildings etc.
I look for variety in their shape, texture, value, and color. I try to arrange these components in a united and orderly way with the composition.

I don't usually change the main visual appearance of the subject but try to enhance the important parts with light and shadow.

An artist can always reduce, eliminate, or add whatever they feel necessary, interpreting in their own way what they feel is important, expressing the visual excitement which prompted them to paint in the first place.

I have attended the Tyler School of Art, the Philadelphia Institute of Art, and Bucks County Community College . I have also studied with various well known artists. My father was a commercial artist and I married a very famous artist, so my life has been engulfed with art for as long as I can remember, other than the years I spent raising three children when I became a part time artist during that time.

I have been the recipient of many prizes, including the Best of Watercolor at the Salmagundi Club in New York . Also, I have been selected to judge many art shows, especially honored to be chosen for Jury of Awards committees.

My residence is in Mechanicsville, Bucks County Pennsylvania.
