Jean R. Olliver works with oils paints on canvas to capture realistic portrayals of floral scenes, gardenscapes, and still-lifes.  Her interpretation of reality includes the use of bright colors, with subtle embellishments of soft lighting and shading.

Jean's accomplished technique of utilizing textures blending of images, provides a warm sensitivity to all her works. The artist was born in Lehigh Valley Pennsylvania. Originally trained as a nurse, Jean has continued her academic studies. Jean is currently a full-time artist. She has won numerous awards for her oil paintings. Currently she has her work on exhibit at galleries across the country from Texas, Utah, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
